Would now be a good time to invest all my money into armbraces?

You're prolly a lil too late as the prices have gone up already. It is tho an excellent time to do DoA, especially with the efficiency we have been doing it in. To put it in numbers, you're looking at around 100k per a simple < 2h run guaranteed. Not a whole lot in the game can come close to that.

I think we need more capable tanks, so the guild won't be dependent on a handful of players to set up a guild group.

Well here are your options

A) You can go with an experienced tank and finish in a reasonable time, usually <2hs

Or

B) You can go with an inexperienced tank so he/she can train and finish in ~4-5hs or not at all.

Anyone who has ever done DoA can tell you you MUST have an experienced tank to finish. Anyone who wants to learn how to tank must come on many, many runs there playing something else until he/she learns exactly whats going on. Then he/she can give tanking a chance.

Randy makes a good point in the tank ideas. I think the absolute BEST case scenario would be five or so solid tanks, and that's a ways off. Tonight i did a 3 man foundry run, and if anyone needs titans or margos, it's a great way to get them when there is not enough people for a full clear.

so in DoA, how would you get the 100k? with the gems or..?

Armbrace = 60 gems

You make an armbrace every 2.5 runs (guaranteed 20 gems + gem drops).

Armbraces go for 50e = 50 x 5k/e =250k

So you are making 250k/2.5 runs, or 100k/run.
