Hey Guys,
Thought I'd throw it up here for consideration.
I love this game, not just because its pretty leet (it is!

) but rather the opportunity to play with some of the nicest ppl in the GW community. Having said that, I'd like to individually address the reqs for Officer.
Activity: I've been logging an average of 6-8 hours a day in game since I joined, on an almost daily basis, most of which is spent with guild or alliance activities (UW clears, DoA runs, EoTN books ... you name it!) Besides that, I've had people ask me if I ever sleep, so I dont know if activity would be a problem.
Recruiting: Since I'm around all the time and definitely don't have enough to do to keep busy, this is something I'm sure Randy wouldn't have to yell at me about.
Commitment: I like to think that I am fairly committed to LOD, even though I haven't been around as long as some of the others have. Staying up all night for DoA runs (mostly because I live in a weird time zone), helping out guildies, working at runs for faster times and things...I enjoy all of the above, and again, seeing as how LOD is the best home I've had in GW so far, I'm goin to be committed to make sure everyone else in the guild has the same awesome experience I have here.
Experience: I'm a firm believer in quality over quantity, and although I have only been playing Guild Wars for close to 7 months now, I've logged about 3000 hours already, which is more than most people who have been playing much longer than I have! And I'm sure most in the guild know that I can handle myself in most missions, elite areas and what not, especially when it comes to knowing GW inside out.
Helpfulness: Short of running a character through a whole campaign (although I have done that in the past), I'm always happy to lend a hand, whether it be quickly running a guy to ToA so he can come on an UW run, or help a guildie out with a mission he's having trouble with.
Participation: Getting two characters through Nightfall just so I can go on DoA runs definitely counts for participation points I think

, seeing as how I hate that campaign. Then again, its all about doing things with all the wonderful ppl in LOD really, because without the community aspect of this game to keep sucking me in, I would'nt play it as much as I do.
Soo, in conclusion I would just like to say that as a potential officer, I would definitely put in the effort required to make sure LOD stays as awesome as it was the day I joined!
Cheers,
Faraaz/Mara
